GEMO supports the Pangea Foundation

21.04.2015

A gala concert accompanying the award ceremony commemorating ‘efforts to remedy human affairs’ was held at the Vinohrady Theatre on Sunday, 19 April 2015. The recipients of this year',s awards were Marek Eben and the Lipnice Holiday School. GEMO OLOMOUC provided support by participating and contributing financially to the foundation’s activities.

Established in 1991, the foundation’s mission is to support education, with an emphasis on today’s challenges, on promising, authentic and modern educational methods, on innovation and successful alternatives. The foundation supports these priorities through its own activities and by awarding grants to other organisations. The foundation’s endowment fund is used to support educational and instructional projects for schoolchildren, students and seniors, and groups of socially-disadvantaged and handicapped individuals. The foundation also helps small groups, especially when their efforts are of a corrective nature, are aimed at moral motivation and serve the common good.
