OMEGA Sports and Health Centre

Project Description

A modern sports and leisure centre with an area of 23,800 m2, halls for racket sports (tennis, squash, badminton), a gym, wellness facilities, a hall with a café, and an outdoor park (areas between the courts) with a children's playground and a summer restaurant which is accessible to the public from Legionářská street. There are 80 parking spaces.

This very successful sports centre is operated on a club basis; it has its own management and it is visited by up to 800 visitors every day.

Activities implemented

Overall concept and project management from design to zoning decision, building permit, construction and final approval. Selection of suitable special sporting surfaces, negotiations with several international operators of similar sports facilities.

The project for the renewal of the area (NH Hotel and Omega) won the "Building of the Year 2010 Award".
